I am the VP of finance for the Cy-Fair A&M club and we have our big fundraising event right around the corner on Friday May 1st at Longwood Golf Club. Registration will start at 11am and a shotgun start at 1PM. Longwood is located in Cypress, TX near Spring Cypress and Telge, just north of 290. Sponsored by Caldwell Companies and Towne Lake for the third year.

This tournament is our big fundraiser and has allowed the Club to donate $10,000 each year since our inception 3 years ago.

In all fairness it was windy................................and thank god, even drunk, we didn't win the yell boy doll.

Unfortunately I will be in Mexico this year for the tournament and really disappointed I will miss it. It was a fun time.

Thanks Dan for the kind words. The money raised goes to the association for scholarships so every dollar helps. Even if you can't play we have hole sponsorships available.

We are using charity guys this year. They have some connections with the original 12th man kick off team and some really unique items.

Give me a heads up if things don't work out with these guys. (or next year) I'm friends with a wholesaler in town that could offer you the same deal these guys do and likely with a lower starting auction price. (Which means more money for the cause) There is obviously no risk involved for the charity. And when it comes to unique items, this guy is one of the biggest Babe Ruth memorabilia dealers in the country. (As well as everything related to Texas sports)

May 1st can't get here quick enough.

I highly recommend this tournament to anyone who enjoys hanging out with other Ags, adult beverages, Italian food and of course helping to raise scholarships for Aggies!

$100 per golfer/$400 per team its also one of the more affordable tournaments in town.

We still need few more sponsors and golfers. Monies raised go towards scholarships for Cy-Fair area students going to Texas A&M

We are officially up over 90 golfers, and all exclusive hole sponsorships are spoken for! This is going to be a great event!!
