Wow - I expected a flurry of people to comment on a new joint that serves fried chicken, something everyone loves.

Its fantastic.

was going for lunch today with coworkers but got pulled into a meeting. will try to go next week during vacation.

Seems pricey at first but the pieces are huge.

Chicken was a little too salty

Mashed Potatoes were not hot and kinda dry...maybe they were old

Okra & Tomatoes were on point.

Will go back, but my wife says she won't.

just ate there for lunch. Good stuff, but pricey. $9.00 for 2 pieces chicken & 1 side. I got the okra & it was very good. Biscuit was fresh with sweetened butter in a cup to spread on it. Chicken was fairly good though & better than Bird House on 11th, which is similar atmosphere. This place had good ol' country music playing, the required Dublin Dr Pepper & Mexican cokes. Hung out for awhile as it's decent enough laid back vibe going on in there. Won't go out of my way, but if in the mood I'd go again.

Haven't eaten there, but did eat at The Bird House today, and that place has some legit fried chicken.

You leave full. $9 isn't pricey for a good tasting lunch that fills you up.

Hell it costs me $9 to go into the tunnels and get Murphy's Deli or Jimmy Johns

Had both Bird House and Chicken Ranch. Prefer Bird House. But probably won't be returning much since the price is up there and I have to be in the mood for fried chicken.

If it's fried chicken you want quit wasting your time and go to BBQ Inn at Yale and Crosstimbers.

Hands down the best fried chicken in the city. It's like stepping into a time machine but GD that fried bird is good.

Also, Chicken Ranch is BYOB so that's a +1.
