I think this is a euphemism for heroin.

near the farting bubble, there is/was a motion detector that would make loud machine noises as you walked under the Travis or Main St bridges - on the south side of Buffalo Bayou.
somewhere along Sunset Blvd near Shepherd in a front yard, is/was a valve from the Hindenburg
on Graceland St, just east of Fulton is a HUGE statue of a bucking bronco horse on a large concrete pedestal in somebody's side yard. It's very, very large.
there's a Frank Lloyd Wright house in Houston
bats are not only under the Waugh Bridge on Buffalo Bayou, but also under Watonga & Pinemont Bridges on White Oak Bayou
big parrot colony on Jefferson near Hughes, look for the parrots painted on a mail box, then look up
there's a lake behind a dam in Parkwood Park, near MacGregor, but it's private property

Feral peacocks of West Memorial

I almost got in a wreck the other day because some guy swerved around one of those peacocks.

Not much of a secret when you can regularly see them running across Kirkwood.


I mean slowly trotting....

i saw one the other day on a lady's roof and she was looking at it like: wtf?!

There is a vault in the basement of City Hall that used to store all of the cash people paid their taxes with.

Been there way longer than that. And I'm more referring to Memorial outside OTB.

In Clear Lake there are a bunch of homes that once belonged to crazy women.

Going inside the east end silos is pretty cool.
