Don't know if the rest of the area is bad but in the memorial area the asp infestation are as bad as I have ever seen. My neighbor killed 26 on Sunday and I had 6 on my garage this morning.

We've seen a bunch of these in 77079 in the last few weeks. Haven't seen any prior to that.

Yep...thats not an asp.

This is an asp, or Puss Caterpillar:

These sting like hell.

This is a Wooly Bear, and it turns into a Tiger Moth:

Id be curious to hear who here has been 'stung' by one of these. Or are we just killing things because they look scary?

This is also an asp:

But im guessing that if you had a lot of these, you people would be setting your houses on fire or moving.

I can't see your first picture, but these are what we've been seeing - definitely asps.

They purportedly gravitate toward Weeping Willow trees....

....which is where I was stung.

I'll take three yellowjacket stings instead, please. OW!

Signs of the Apocalypse:

Asps everywhere.

Horns retain a 4* commit.

Case Keenum.

So do we treat this like a hurricane?

Should we all go run out and buy up all the bread, water and bleach from the stores??
