Check Houston Transtar.
Well, the last few shutdowns haven't shown up at all on transparent traffic maps. The best info I have gotten came from TexAgs.

I'm fairly certain they have not been doing any closures this entire week due to all of the holiday traveling.

But I wouldn't put it past them.
Do not use traffic maps. Transtar has a page for closures which is accurate to the point that what is closed is either closed or open (depending on finish time or cancellation). Nothing has been closed that was not listed.
290 is open heading to BCS

Pretty smooth drive when we came up around 9.
290 is as bad as I've ever seen it. And we're way past 99.
Left at 1 and had almost no traffic taking 10 to 290 via Grand Parkway.
