Horrible.

RTT, is there anything they might think lead to this? (Serious question - was he gay?) it seems that hate crimes have popped up more recently.

Whatever it is I hope they catch the person(s) involved.

Yes, he was gay, but they don't know if that had anything to do with it yet. The family is concentrating on funeral arrangements right now. We don't have much info other than that at this time.

Just saw this on the news. We have Client lunches at Ninos often- saw him there at work.

Considering it was blunt force trauma and a cement block was tied to his feet, it sounds personal.
I hope justice is swift and certainly feel your family's pain.
My brother was murdered last year in Austin.
