I'm going to type something below that I never thought I'd type...EVER

I'd rather see a Best Burger in Houston thread than this crap.

Maybe the bizarre portion of Beachton St, the tiny strip south down a dirt path at the end of Summer St
- or Winter St on either side of Houston Ave by the RR tracks.

You can actually request this specific information through the Texas Public Information Act.

I love Camel's posts.

I dunno about street...but specific lanes...maybe on kirby right at westpark, or rice at fournace...

Those places are brutal in an f150.

Westheimer can be pretty bad. No way that 4 cars can drive side by side on that in certain spots.

If were talking lanes it's gotta be airline just south of 610 all the way to Cavalcade.

Regardless of what it is, it will not compare to streets in Philly.

Before or after the construction? Are they done yet?

Any of those streets around Beaver's are pretty narrow:

Before.

I don't know if they're done yet. Last time I was down there they were still working on it down towards Cavalcade and working their way north. They hadn't even gotten close to right around Canino's or 610.

Another option. Eunice at Payne headed towards North. As a bonus, the homeowner. has a quite interesting hand-written sign directed at his dog-owning neighbors.

I was going to say Quitman when half of it collapsed into White Oak Bayou, but it has since been fixed.

Not well traveled, but Leaning Ash west of Brittmore is one lane.

Jesus....that's pretty freaking bad

I was gonna say all streets in Cottage Grove (or at least it seems that way with all of the parking along the streets).

check out Dunbar, between Airline & Michaux. A tall brick wall from a storage place aligns against the narrow one-lane passage.

I still maintain the portion of Beachton at the end of Summer St is the narrowest. The street itself is not on google (you can street-view it from Summer), but that portion of Beachton does exist (a street sign has fallen over at that location & there's a house at the end of the very narrow dirt road that has trees & bushes everywhere. It's very close to I-45.

I believe that the narrowest street is probably Houston's oldest street. the 900 block of Sabine is the only section of Houston street that is still original brick. (at least that's what I've been told)

feagan street in between shepard and jackson hill is a nightmare. Its pretty much 1 lane with all the cars parked on the side.

In Montrose, the curve of Westheimer between Anvil/Boondocks when it's just two lanes is pretty narrow.

Why the **** are we talking about this though?

Another nominee: McAlpine St between Navigation & Canal. It's a narrow one lane street, with overhanging tree branches & vines making it even narrower. At the Canal intersection, they've painted white lines across the sidewalk as some indication that there's a crossing street there.
