Here's a question no one has ever been able to answer for me: going each way on 45, the left shoulder is about 1.5 lanes wide. They could easily create a new lane there by just reprinting some lines. Why don't they?
We've been up here since 2008 and love it. The traffic is kind of a pain right now, but I'm hopeful it will get better soon. What worries me is the future expansion and growth up the 45 corridor. I read something recently that talked about how undersized 45 is for the current volume of traffic, and that the traffic was expected to double in the next ten years or so.
