Few places have told me they can donit but dont recommend it because they dont guarantee it will be water tight. Sounds like I will have to mail it in to be fixed.

For that brand, have it done locally and then take it to a jewelry store that sells high end watches and get it pressure tested. If it passes, then you're good. The pressure test may be free or cost $5-10.

If it were a Rolex, IWC, Panerai, etc, I'd suggest sending it into them to have it done as well as a possible service.

Why fix it. Save your money and buy a real watch.

Are Skagen watches really even water proof? I mean, to a degree that matters beyond wearing it in the shower.
