quote:Soooo...which now bankrupt club did you "partner" with?
What an embarrassing mix of bombastic ****. A bunch of overdressed, underwhelming, brah'd-the-****-out, wannabe trendsetters crowd the latest cookie cutter ****hole-in-the-wall trying to look cool gyrating their hips and raising up glasses of over-hyped swill.
That goes on for a few weekends until the word gets out and the animals start showing up. Within months, if the place is still around, the crowd is a bunch of thugs trying to emulate the first wave of idiots, but spending less money, and bringing in more hood rats. The club limps along for a while so the owner can pretend he's some kind of baller, and continue to fund his hair grease and cocaine habit.
If it's been around for more than a year, there's likely a "partner" been brought in who was attracted to the club owner lifestyle, but realized that it hemorrhages money and feels duped because he didn't get to live the cocaine/hair grease fantasy like the ******bag he partnered with. The club fails, but not before there's another one opened - repeating the cycle.
Heavy use of 'elite,' 'posh,' 'ambience,' 'upscale,' etc. denotes a cheap, plywood-backed, oddly lit, watered-down cesspool of $30,000 millionaires trying to be somebody.
// Nearly every wannabe hotspot, ever.
