I want to get my wife a massage, some where nice in West Houston or Katy. I checked City Centre and La Centerra and neith seemed to have a Spa.

Suggestions?

Send her to see Savannah at Lifetime Fitness on Cinco Ranch and 99. She worked at the chiropractor I used to see across the street from LF, and moved there about a year ago. Best deep tissue massage therapist I've ever seen. You and your wife won't be sorry.

I'm not a member and just pay the "retail" rate vs member rate. I want to say it's about $90-100 for a full hour.

There is a nice massage place next to Nicks Place.

I've sent my wife to the Spa at Cinco. She is pleased.

I suggested a specific person there because she is the best I've ever used, and their spa is actually pretty nice. I was skeptical as well the first time I went over there after she moved. I'm also a guy so my perception may be skewed, but it's not like I suggested the YMCA.

In my opinion, a great massage at a more than decent location beats a bad massage at a really "nice" place. I've been to the massage therapist at the Spa at Cinco Ranch, also, and wasn't impressed, especially for the price.

Another option would be the Wellness Centre on 1463 just south of I-10. I've been to see Dr. Balin and his massage therapists are pretty good. And the office is very "nice," too.

Another good option is the Spa at Cinco Ranch - butthe Houstonian is not substantially more expensive.

For the north side (The Woodlands) there is a great spa that I always buy my wife gift certificates for and she LOVES the place.
