Looks like we're getting a CFA where the strip center was torn down on Dairy Ashford between Memorial & I-10 and a Raising Canes where they are doing site work next to Sonic.

Also looks like we'll be getting something new where the Chinese Buffet currently sits (went out of business when they tore up the parking lot for the Raising Canes).

I haven't driven down Dairy Ashford in a month or so, what shopping center got torn down?

we used to call that buffet "the trough". decent food though.

i'm guessing the CFA will go where rita's used to be??

Interesting, there is a canes off westheimer not too far away from there. Seems oddly close.

ehh, it's a long drive down DA to get to that other cane's. if you work along 10 you probably don't take the time to go that far for lunch.

I have a neighbor who works in commercial real estate. It's also out there if you google
CFA Dairy Ashford.

They just erected a twin peaks a little further east of D.A.

Yeah, moved a few months ago.

The CFA on Briar Forest and Eldridge doesn't have a playground. It's geared for the Energy Corridor lunch crowd and single people who live in the area. Our family went right after it opened and this was super disappointing to my 3 year old. Let's hope the one on Dairy Ashford has a playground!

If I'm eating in that area, it's hard to not go to Sam's Fries Burgers and Pies for a Cuban Sammich.

The site looks like it's under construction now. I didn't see a chick fil a sign though.

I happened to talk to the Dunkin Donuts real estate manager a few weeks ago and brought up this stretch of Memorial to him. He didn't mention anything being in the works

I really wish they would stick a pollo compero somewhere in that stretch. I miss that place since they closed the one out in katy.

CFA sign was up this morning as I drove past the site.

I saw they opened up an El Pollo Loco in Sugar Land. I think four locations, including Katy, are due to open by early next year. For those who are OK with grilled chicken, of course.

Ags.... I'll be the one taking ownership with Chick-fil-A on the new Memorial / Dairy Ashford location. We look forward to getting it open at the end of February. I'm currently the operator of the Westheimer locations and will be moving over experienced staff to take care of Energy Corridor & Memorial customers.
