Has anyone else checked this place out? Located at Ella/18th at the old Dairy King location.

Best way I can describe it is a Vietnamese food sports bar. Decent beer selection on tap, the BahnMis are killer! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Yep wife and I hit it up quite often...hard to beat the bahn mi. The also have a beef dish i really like but I forgot the name.

Hughies has good food and a great Texas beer selection. So far I've had the shaking beef, banh mi, and the sampler platter with spring rolls, wings and potstickers. They brought us shrimp chips right when we sat down, not sure if that's a standard thing or something they do during lunch hours. Definitely check it out!

So used to really like the spicy fried rice there but the last time I went it was way to hot to be enjoyable, like hotter than Thai Gourmet hot.

They have increased the heat, for sure. You can get the sauce they spice it with on the side, and add it at your own pace.

Yeah found out about the ceasing of the banh mi special Monday night.

I was just there after leaving the Astros game. My daughter was still hungry and I like their reverse HH on weekends. $3 Yellow Rose & Grapefruit Sculpin....and I tried to talk the waitress into selling me a Crowler for $6 cause it's the price of 2 pints.

Next time squirt some lotion on some tp and wipe before you go, it will save your a**.
