Serious Question (not to hi-jack, but since it's been mentioned several times above): You live there and are white, so why can't you only seek a white tenant? That's your personal preference in your personal residence. Sure, I can see how apartments who lease an entire space to someone cannot discriminate. But, if the landlord is SHARING the space, I think he/she could pick a roommate based on whatever criteria he/she wanted to (race, sex, blah blah, etc.).
