How long do you want to ignore this user?
Until recently almost every convenience store, pharmacy, and grocery store in the area sold the Houston Chronicle and many businesses had vending machines selling them outside. Now if you want to buy one it's just not easy to find.

Anybody have any idea how this state of affairs came to be? Being a fan of paranoid theories I'd say The Eagle somehow cast a spell to keep the Chronicle away, but that's a bit much.

Barnes and Noble Bookstore has them behind the counter.

The carriers for The Eagle and Wall Street Journal now throw the Chronicle, too. Might call circulation at The Eagle and ask.

The Shell (with the Popeye's Chicken Place) on the corner of Booneville and Highway 6 carries the Houston Chronicle, Daily and Sunday's. They are delivered with The Eagle by the same person every morning.
