La Familia at Barron and 6 is the best in College Station. There are a handful of great places in Bryan. What part of town?
Jesse's Taqueria on 29th Street in Bryan is pretty popular
Yole's out in Wellborn are our go-to in CS. Very good tortillas.
My wife and I grew up in south Texas and this place is the closest thing to our favorite hometown tacos.

Yoles in Wellborn is dam good, good price and fast. I get a breakfast burrito loaded with ham, eggs, bean, and cheese that is excellent with their medium salsa. La Familia at the Barron gas station is good too but more expensive, smaller portion, and usually takes a while. Their carne gasada is worth a try and they do a top notch green pork but it can be pretty dam hot sometimes. Both places are definitely worth a try.

Agree that Yoles is excellent. Also highly recommend the new Stripes on Welborn and 41.

Maggie's on Coulter in Bryan. Fantastic house made tortillas.

I don't think Pepe's is serving breakfast tacos any more. They haven't been open the last few times I tried, and their breakfast sign is no longer up. The doors still have the breakfast hours posted, though.

Honestly OP, you can't go wrong at any of these places. We are quite spoiled here in the breakfast taco department.

It's pretty hard to mess up a breakfast taco. A homemade tortilla is a must have though. Stripes is good and cheap but is obviously a chain.

BACK to the OP's question, you might also check out Pepper's Cocina, down the road from La Carreta on Hwy 21. Two excellent local non-chain breakfast places.

Yole's is good. Ask for the jalapeno sauce they hide from the gringos.
