What restaurant would you eat at after a two day fast?

Having a colonoscopy in a few hours, and I haven't eaten any solid food for two days.

I plan on going out to eat once I take a nap and the drugs wear off, but I can't decide where to go! Kind of feeling pizza, burgers, Indian food... Hell, I could eat just about everything right now.

What's your go to place for lunch around town?

I wouldn't do any ofthem if you haven't eaten for 2 days.

Soup and sandwich will be easier on your stomach.

This. Let your stomach get used to having food on it again. Eat some fruit or something light for your first meal after finishing your fast.

I went for breakfast burritos after mine.

Drugs wear off quick so you won't need a nap.

The OP said they hadn't had solid food in two days. That's not the same as fasting. Probably had liquids, broth, and Popsicles.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I'm still debating where to go.

For those concerned (which is sweet), my doctor said I could eat just about whatever I want late afternoon (just nothing spicy, because I was condsidering Taz haha).

Lot of folks who never had a colonoscopy are commenting on this thread. Never had a 2 day fast. Stomach doesn't need any time to get right again. Denny's after a morning colo. Mexican food after one later in the day.

The more you clean out beforehand, the better the doctor can detect abnormalities in the colon. Two days is far from unheard of.

It's not a 2 fast. It's a modified diet a few days before (no corn, nuts, seeds, grapes, etc.) and liquids the day before. Nothing red or purple if you have Popsicles.

The day before you fast and start drinking the go juice about 4pm.

Get up the next morning and go get scoped. No big deal.

After my last one I had Mexican food. I scheduled it early on a Monday morning so Sunday was a loss with the clear liquids and stuff, but things were back to normal well before noon.
