I need to pick up a good cake, or pie or something for a dinner we are attending tonight while on my lunch break today. Where should I go? I usually make something, but we are in the middle of a remodel and my kitchen is basically not functioning right now.

Readfield's has amazing pies, made in house. Nothing But Bundt (cakes) opened recently and people seem to like them.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is delicious. They keep a selection of cakes on-hand for purchase. It is in the Kohl's parking lot.

Sweets and Eats on Briarcrest. Its in that little strip center by the Shell station across from Target center. They have a great choc cake and a really good lemon cake.

The Kroger on Boonville has a pretty good bakery. We've bought lots of cakes there, and they'll personalize messages on the spot.

I second Sweets and Eats. Have had multiple items from there and all have been fresh and delicious!

Oh, and they deliver! You can order online and have your dessert at your house or business in less than an hour.

Someone I know quit working at Patranellas due to mice infestation, microwave heating of pre-prepared food and cleanliness. Sad. I used to go there.
