In the years past we have set up our tv on a table with a lot of glare issues. This year I am looking for some inexpensive ideas on a new tv setup, i.e. enclosed "boxes", entertainment centers, etc. If any of you have any ideas you could pass along, it would be greatly appreciated.

What type of tv are you using? Plasmas with the glass surface are not a good choice for tailgating because the glare issue. You want a tv without the glass on the front. Something like an LCD tv.

The other thing that really helps is having a dark background behind where you are sitting, so you will be sitting between the dark wall and the tv. Most of the glare you see is coming from behind you.

I suggest drinking more beer. You'll care about the glare less.
