Needing property surveyed outside of North Zulch. Can anyone recommend someone to use?
quote:You're not paying for them to cut you a line of sight. It used to be this way before gps, but only because line of sight was necessary to get the measurement. They're surveyors, not a land clearing company. Also, if the plat has a corner, Kerr would have flagged it up or set a new rod. I follow Kerr quite often and he does great work.
Point is they look to cut corners. On a residential block and lot survey, not a huge deal. But on a larger parcel it is important to verify and mark each waypoint and have line of sight bearing verification of each waypoint along the way. Some points are difficult to get to, and they'll slack off if you don't watch them.
Kerr did a survey for my neighbors and didn't mark any of the difficult points to access. You don't just get to say "and 1500 feet that way thru the forest is the next point"
