What kind of LIZARD is this that my boys found?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
My son and his best friend found this lizard out in the yard. We haven't seen anything like it before (especially the blue underneath). We of course are letting it go soon, but does anyone know what kind it is? Thanks!

Speaking of lizards, does anyone know what species the striped, very fast lizards you see running around the Antique Rose Emporium are? It's been over a year since I've been down there and I haven't seen them in CS/B, but I remember they looked like they might be some sort of whiptail.

Yup. Looks like a Spiney. Usually more hill country area.

The ones at ARE are whiptails. Not sure why so many there...
