There's apparently going to be several upcoming events in the C-stat area including one in June, I'm very tempted to go.

Have not personally been, but have heard good things about the events from a few participants. Cawthorn has been the host several times over the years.

It's a great event to teach new shooters good fundamentals in the standing, kneeling, and prone firing positions. And you get to learn a bit of history as well...

I found it refreshing and the instructors were very nice. Definitely recommend attending the ones they hold at Cawthon Cartridge Club.
