I am looking for a retreat center, cabin, house, etc. within a few hours of B/CS to take a group of high school students for a few this summer. The budget is minimal. It doesn't have to be fancy, but does need AC and a group meeting space. It needs to sleep at least 13, ideally in 4 separate spaces.

Any new/unique ideas that you all might know of?

Countless, but I'd call Camp Allen among others.

What's the name of that place that does Fish Camp. Pretty sure Brandon's Dad runs it.

Carpe- Lakeview? They have church camps in the summer, too.

I'm not sure if they can lodge enough, but Moody Ranch Outfitters in Anderson may be a good option.

Max, that's the kind of place I'm looking for. Their website says lodging for 22.

I've been to a retreat here. They have a lot of different options and ability to have two or three things going at the same time.

Mo Ranch

Messiah's Ranch!!! Can't say enough good things. Lakeview good second, only because it is farther. What's that camp in Burton called, Camp for all?? Can't remember, but they have great facilities and ton's of activites.

There was a church place in Snook, IIRC - part of the bunk house was a railroad car, and the big room had Kyle Field turf....

Maybe it was Kingdom Ranch?

You may want to look at Frontier Camp on Houston County Lake, just northwest of Crockett. About a 1 hr - 40 min drive from B/CS out Hwy 21 E. Camp director is an Ag.
