anyone have any recs for in home speech therapy for a 3.5 year old? we are in a PPCD classroom and also doing ST through st joes in bryan and wondering if there's a more efficient/convinient option to supplement what we're doing at school.

ECI....Early Childhood Intervention

ECI only goes to age 3. There are a few home health companies in town that can do it depending on your insurance. Companies like Epic or Pathfinders to name a few. I would start by calling your insurance and asking who they contract with in town for home based therapies then contact your child's doctor and ask for a referral or order.

Our insurance BCBS approved Epic with a Dr. referral. They came to the daycare but will do in home.

Only gripes is they do not communicate progress/at home stuff well at all, and billing is usually a pain in the butt. They don't do what you tell them and they agree to do the next cycle.

Care Options for Kids is new in town. They are only taking public insurance at this time though.

And Brazos Valley Rehab if you're ok with a facility setting.
