We are wanting to take some family photos ourselves but are having a hard time coming up with a place to take them. Other than Research Park, where should we go?

We've had some nice ones out at the Antique Rose Emporium.

Maybe ask Darrin Hill to take some of y'all out at Avalon.

Downtown Bryan has a little courtyard beside the Carnegie Library that's good, the Icehouse is also kind of neat.

The park behind the Brazos Center has platforms, a bridge and a small pond.

Veterans park has lots of green space on the trail that would make a nice background and also has a couple of bridges.

Central Park "World Headquarters" has a nice porch rail.
Lots of spots on the A&M campus: around the MSC, Academic Plaza, Cushing Library
Church with a courtyard (we did our church, A&M Methodist in Northgate)
Bush Library (as mentioned) especially the horses!
