We've had a few stations go out on our sprinkler system and it's a little more work than we want to do ourselves. Can anyone recommend a good irrigation repair person?

I'm seeing good reviews for Rainbow Gardens and Lone Star Lawn and Irrigation on HomeAdvisor. Any others I should check out?

We're receiving more calls than we can field right now (about 100 per day) so be patient please. Wait time is running about 2 weeks!

Plus we're at Kyle Field which adds an extra layer of stress. You can often see us on the web cams so check it out!

I just called IDC since Prince reported such a long backup here; looks like the backup is pretty much universal right now.

Everyone is super busy right now. IDC is fantastic if you can wait but if you can't, go with whoever can come out first.

Interesting. No one by the name of Brandon Garcia shows up in TCEQ's Licensed Irrigator database: http://www2.tceq.texas.gov/lic_dpa/index.cfm

Whoever you select for irrigation, make sure they are a Licensed Irrigator or Irrigation Technician. Irrigation systems are connected to the public drinking water system, so it's important that the person working on your system is properly licensed.

He's a licensed plumber. So he doesn't need an irrigator's license.

You are quite right. Thanks for correcting me; I had forgotten about that.

No worries, you brought up a great point (connecting to city water supply).

I'm a licensed irrigator so I should know these things, but I strictly do design (degreed Land. Arch. and hopefully a licensed L.A. by next spring).
