By now I would have taken down my hummingbird feeders, but I have a group of 7-8 that are still feeding. I am guessing that the wetter summer so far has encouraged a number of hummers to over- summer here. Are any other feeder providers noticing the same thing?

I still see a few a day checking out our hummingbird /butterfly garden. In particular they love the butterfly weed. We see more hummingbirds on it than butterflies.

My feeder has been taken over by a pair of small birds although they are bigger than hummingbirds. I'm not sure what type since I haven't bothered to look it up but the male has an orange spot on his head. My cat loves to watch them so I'm still filling the feeder for them.

Hummers still actively working our flowers, and the feeders to a lesser degree.

They really like the cigar plants that are blooming great!

interesting, they love our Butterfly Weed and when it blooms - Salvia greggii.

Maybe they are looking for more nutrient rich food before the return trip home.

All my feeders are quite active. Ruby throat hummingbirds nest here and will stay around all summer with a good food and water source close by.

Still hitting our firecracker plant blooms heavily. There are fewer than 4 weeks ago but still a lot here. We have so many plants they dine at that we don't use feeders.
