Posted on Outdoor board as well-
Can you put a kayak in any of the city ponds or lakes in Aggieland? I'm wanting to introduce my boys to kayak jug lining in a smaller environment? I'm really thinking about the lake behind the Bryan Target. Thoughts?

I'm reasonably sure that lake is posted no swimming, wading, etc.

Lake Bryan is a go (obviously), as are some neighborhood lakes if you are invited by an HOA member.

It's illegal to jug line in both Lake Bryan and Gibbons Creek Reservoir.

Didn't know that, the only fishing I ever really did was at Northgate back in what is referred to now as "old army." My wife has a silly plastic boat but doesn't fish out of it, but generally uses our HOA lake or trips to state parks.
