I would say worse customer service, but to be frank that's a bar set so low it will be hard to beat.

Suddenlink's customer service is one of the few things they have going for them. We went with DirecTV and never looked back because we had one converter box/TIVO after another die on us. People who used to work there told me that when a unit is returned as defective all Suddenlink does is dust it off and put it in a new plastic bag. After our experiences, I believe it.

Hmmm, that explains their hell bent, sending me 2-3 mailings per week, trying to get subscribers.

Pretty sure they were trying to meet some mark to get the purchase to go through or drive up the price.
