Could anyone who has had a six foot cedar with steel post fence done recently give me an approximate expectation of cost per foot?

I will try to find my last quote/bill if I can. I used Ace. It's in a pile somewhere in my office.
In Nov. of 2013, I paid $17/foot for a 6' cedar fence on Steel Posts from Ace. I also did a section of 8' to keep people from seeing in my backyard from the park and it was $22/foot. The gates were $65 each.
I think mine was more (last year) BUT I also had them add a board along the bottom for a bit more height and dog proofing.
Just for the record. As of 5/18, an 8ft landscape timber at Home Depot, sku 129-430 was $3.47.
Compare that to the price of a metal post if you are getting a fence built.
