Good lord when did they go up on their prices so much ?
I have not ordered from there in years but called today to get a standard cookie cake.,$30.
Wow, I can buy a full sheet cake @ SAMs for that price.

Wow, I thought they charged about half that.

Cookie cakes are the world's easiest thing to make. They're easier than regular cakes imo.

I just ordered a sheet cake from Fabulous Fare for 30.00. Way better than Cookie Co!

I remember before they pulled their cookie cake prizes from KBTX when I would win the gift certificate would not cover the full cost of a cookie cake. It was pretty neat of them!

This is why GACC prices are so high. Nobody buys from them when they can get it cheaper elsewhere. I'm sure their location isn't helping either. I avoid the mall at all costs, but to have to park and walk to get an item like this is kinda dumb in this day and age. And, mall rent is ludicrous.

The mall business model is dying I think. Long live Amazon......

They also have to pay a franchise fee yearly, and like you said, insane rent at the mall. That effects their overhead as well.

Fabulous Fare cool website, but I don't see how you could order or pick up.

It's been almost 3 years since I've been inside the mall. I've made a couple trips to dillards but never went further than the men's section. Such a hassle and so many people just wandering aimlessly.

Underrated post.

Why don't you get a round metal sheet for the oven, a big log of cookie dough and some frosting and candles. Roll the dough flat on the pan and bake. You can probably get all of this for half the cost, especially if you already have the pan.
