Anyone have any recs on someone who can come into my house and figure out whats going on with my printer? Its only a year old and its gotten a lil screwy on me.

Good idea.
Also your printer should have a support number on it. If it is a canon chances are it has lifetime free tech support. Another option is to run it by Buddy's appliance. Return customers get 10% off service for life.
