Is it my imagination or is El Gallito no longer at it's old location on 29th?

It's become a mediocre Asian restaurant that also serves Mexican food.

Well that is a bummer

Mrs. W8liftr and I ate at the new "mediocre Asian restaurant that also serves Mexican food" last week and we thought the new place was much better than the old one.

Wokamole. Haven't ventured yet.

We liked El Gallito and went quite often.

That said, we've been to Wokamole several times, tried different Asian and Mexican dishes, and have not been disappointed. The Asian food (not just Chinese) is varied, tasty, and priced nicely. The Mexican food is the same as it was - good (but less variety than there was).

We'll keep going back.

Which Wokamole are y'all talking about? I went about 10 days ago. It was the most disgusting dining experience I've ever had in this town. Neither genre of cuisine was executed with mediocrity, much less excellence.

I'd rather drink toilet water than go there again.
