I'm a member of the Army National Guard and I was curious if there are any programs or organizations in the area that assist members of the military with their employment search.

Contact the Brazos Valley Workforce Solutions. They have a specific guy that helps military....can't remember his name though.
Quite a few of my neighbors are ex-military...I'll check with them and see what pointers they may have, All the best luck to you.
