I need to get the address changed on my license and my phone says the new DMV out near Woodville Rd (off of 6) is permanently closed. Seems they just moved from their other location a year or two ago. Where are they now a days? Google maps has the nearest DMV being in Brenham.

It is Bryan, far far far away in North Bryan.
Take Hwy 6 North to Hearne, turn around, come back an exit on the frontage road.
Take a chair. Takes a while.

Yah that's where I thought it was. Weird. On my phone's Google maps it says that location has permanently closed and didn't want to drive for 25 minutes just to have the phone be right. Guess I'm going any how. Thanks y'all.
I renewed my license in December. Went mid-morning to their 'new' location in Bryan and there was no line at all. I was pleasantly surprised how quick it was.
The online option has thinned out the crowds somewhat. God bless technology.
I had to go out to renew license because they needed new pic. Drove all the way out there (it's practically in Hearne) and they told me they were closed because there computers were down.
Arggh!

It could have been placed like the new tax office. It would have made sense to put it in Cs. More driving population. Not sure why I merited a thumbs down for stating my opinion.
The land for the new location was donated to the state. That's why DPS and TxDot were able to build new buildings for their departments.
