I wish that I had a dollar for every time that I told someone to take F&B and they had no idea where it was but then replied "Oh, ok" when I said, "The road with the see through cows".

Learning the meaning I'm not going to lie, I kind of wish the Greek houses had been built there.

Research into the railroad history in Bryan reveals that F&B most likely means Flag and Braking Stop, referring to the intersection of the tracks at F&B and Welborn. F&B ends there. A Flag meant to the trains to go slow and the Braking meant the train should stop at the intersection.

I'd always heard it meant "field and barn" road, given it was the road one would take to the old dairy center and the horse stables.
