75-100 lbs of honey in the 32 gallon can.. all going back to feed my bees for the winter, and i got 2 more hives to remove..

so were the vagrants just the bees or were there actually squatters living there?

Studioone, I have a dozen 16 ounce glass jars, all with shiny black lids. Would you like them? Or would anyone else?

Studioone....I have a question for you. What kind of suit do you have and how do you keep from sweating to death and passing out in less than 1 hour wearing it? Im a relatively new beekeeper, and I have a full suit, its cotton, and its hot as all hell. I wore over the weekend (temps in the upper 70's) and I made it through two hives before having to get out of it and sit down.....and im 6'1" 190lbs....

Curious, if bees weren't removed, what is the worst thing that could happen? Seems like an abandoned property.

Also, is edible honey different from the combs in the bucket?

1. mom - i sell honey so i have to have new jars...

2. brazos - wait till august after may I only mess with bees once a week.. about 2 hours before sunset.Wear an old tshirt. In the summer it will be so soaked with sweat its nasty.. hydrate hydrate ...and i don't do removals in august its lethaly hot. Lemme know if u wanna ever visit .

3. Original - house is going to be demolished this week along with the one behind it.. crews won't work till bees are gone If a person has a hive in their walls, the bees do eventually start to visit inside if the hive died, the honey, comb and dead bees rot and attract maggots and things but usually if the hive dies another one moves in and takes over, even if it's been sprayed. which is why u have to remove the whole hive.
