I need someone to do some very simple sewing. Anyone have any recommendations?

Do they need to be nearby? Take a look at Etsy. A lot of those folks will do custom work.
The measuring and accuracy is important, so you need a local seamstress or tailor.
I've had plenty of items custom made from etsy and have never had any trouble.
I've never heard of etsy. I liked at the website but still wasn't exactly sure what it was
