The Young Professionals in Energy are hosting our 1st Annual YPE CS Charity Golf Classic! The event will be held Monday, October 13th at the Phillips Event Center at Briarcrest(formerly Briarcrest Country Club). The benefiting charity is the Friends of Brazos Valley Heroes, an organization devoted to raising funds and support for local veterans and first responders.

4-Man shotgun scramble will begin at 1PM. $75/person, $300/team. Deadline for signing up is Oct. 6th, so don't delay! Please email ype.csc@gmail.com to register for the event. Please list your name, contact info, and list of players on your team.

Open to any and all individuals, so feel free to spread the word to fellow co-workers, friends and acquaintances. Sponsorship opportunities are still available which not only provides exposure to promote businesses but also goes to a great cause. You guys should've checked the calendar before scheduling your tourney because there's another charity golf tournament on that same day at Pebble Creek Country Club. I wasn't involved with signing my company up for that tourney but I seem to recall we signed up a couple of months ago.

We would totally play, but we're in the BVSO tournament that day.

BeardedBear, good news is that due to the rain we rescheduled to a couple Mondays from now. I will post more information shortly.

Due to the inclement weather Bryan/College Station experienced yesterday morning and the flooding of the golf course, we have rescheduled the golf tournament for two Monday's from now, being October 27th.

We appreciate everyone's understanding as it's difficult to project how the weather will treat us weeks ahead of time.

The good news is that this will allow us more time to gather additional teams and sponsors, so please feel free to spread the word and let me know if you are interested.
