Huntsville will have Fair on the Square which is typically the first Saturday in October.

Texas Reds wraps up today. Many fall fests at various churches coming up. Some home games left.

Brazos valley Maize in brenham opens at the end of October-corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay ride, movies for the family

Brazos valley fair (and all those in surrounding counties..Burleson, Austin..)

Kappa sigma wicked woods-haunted house run by fraternity off of 60; it is well-done-scary elements but appropriate for most ages

Most local churches host a "trunk or treat" in the weeks leading up to Halloween

The Scarecrow Festival (in Chappell Hill) is Oct 11-12. We go every year!

Actually it is a block from there on RP towards Hwy 6. Benefits Aggie Habitat for Humanity if memory serves.

Ok, I have to ask. As Halloween approaches, do any of the local churches do those "Hell house" things, where they set up displays of what happens to Bad People in the afterlife? I know that was common around here once...
