At the old location, they had a 2 and under play area. I can't see them removing that. It would probably be interesting to a ten and under crowd.

Panda Express in Rudder Landing had a 'now open' sign out yesterday.

Can someone tell me what happened with the Chicks convenience store? Its now a Stripes, but wasn't there a big to-do about their attempts to copy Buc-ees?

After the settlement with Buckees, the owner of Chicks sold the store to Stripes. Almost all Chicks merchandise has been liquidated as the Stripes merchandise has come in. It now has a Laredo Taco Company instead of the Chicks breakfast tacos (and the ordering and acquiring of these is much more chaotic IMHO), but the Chicks burgers remain available and untouched.
And Stripes seems to have tamales that people go back for more of, so I'm trying those soon.

Stripes tamales are terrible. The only people I see buying them are Mexican oilfield workers.
I went into a Stripes a couple if weeks ago and can't believe anyone would eat there.
