This is a strange question, but I'm looking to shoot a cow and am wondering how big an Ice chest I need to bring that thing home. Any help would be appreciated.

Whereabouts are you getting to hunt? Might be better off just hauling a bunch of ice in and stuffing her middles with ice bags until you can get her to a processor instead of doing it yourself.

For what it's worth, I killed a bull this morning, field dressed at 350lbs. Boned it out and got it in a 150 qt cooler.

An adult cow will dress out at 200-250#. If you quarter it, you should be able to get it in a 120. Also, Hibbler's in Kingsville does really good work with Nilgai meat-they get a lot of the King Ranch animals so they have plenty of practice at it. If you don't want to shoot over to Kingsville from Fal, maybe Prasek's in Hillje...they do good work, too.

Seconded - Prasek's did the last nilgai I shot. Not the cheapest around, but they always do good work.
