Won this last Sunday at a Friends of the NRA event in Conroe. It's brand new in the box, hasn't been fired.

Montana Rifle Company Model 1999 ASR 22-250 Friends of the NRA edition. The American Standard Rifle (ASR).

Asking $1000. I'm in College Station.

It has a NRA engraving on the bottom. It's a really nice rifle but it's not a caliber that we'll use.

If I had room in my safe I'd make you an offer. That's perfect for anybody with a child that is just starting hunting anything from prairie dogs to whitetail deer anywhere in Texas.

That is a great rifle. I have been considering Montana RIfle Company for a while in my seemingly endless quest for my rifle. If it was left handed I would be at your place today.

Yes please! It's really a great gun and if I was in a different place in life I'd just keep it in the safe, but we're selling it to fund a 300 win mag.

22-250 is a great hunting cartridge for Texas.
300 win mag is too, too much. It's all personal opinion but I wouldn't fool with recoil like that in Texas.

I need something to kill a Nilgai. And hopefully one day an elk.

Don't worry, I won't shoot a whitetail with it. (But maybe a hog, that might be fun).
