When the open carry law in Texas goes in effect next year is it still illegal for your gun to be imprinting if concealed? I wear mine in the 430 position and made a remark how I can be a little more relaxed about what shirt to wear when carrying because of open carry. Gf told me her chl instructor said when open carry starts it would still be illegal for any part of your gun to show if concealed.

It was already a non issue. The legislature even passed a clarification because of confusion about printing.

Your friend is wrong, it won't matter if you're wearing a gun openly, under a shirt with a little sticking out or completely concealed. All will be legal options.
