CrossBow, it cycles perfectly with subs and the higher velocity stuff - both suppressed and unsuppressed.

At first I had bent necks on all of the ejected casings and the trajectory seemed to indicate over-gassing. Since I don't have an adjustable gas block, my only option was the spring kit JP sells for their buffer. After trying all of them (5 different weights) the heaviest spring took care of the problem. Still have necks that are slightly bent but it's comparable to what I see from my RRA AR. Not as bad as they were and casings are now thrown 90*.

Nice, do you get any gas in your face with that Raptor charging handle? I run a BCM for that higher shelf, but like the looks and operation of the Rainier.

Looks Great! Saker is a solid piece. What kind of sound levels are you getting down to with the subs?

I get a little gas but it's not bad. Being my first time shooting a suppressed gun, I was always under the impression that I'd get a blast of gas in my face like out of an air compressor - not the case. The smell of burnt powder just seeps out a little. I've never tried the BCM so I can't really compare them.

I love shooting my 8.2" 300blk with the specwar. The only thing I don't love is reloading or shopping for enough ammo to keep up with my trigger finger.

Dubi - I've got the raptor CH as well on my sbr, no issues with the gas and I'm a lefty. Only difference with the can on is the cases look like they've been shat out instead of ejected.

I'm really regretting clicking on this thread. My first NFA foray may be a 2 stamp .300 gun now.

I figured... If I was going to do it, I would build exactly what I wanted. It took over a year, but to me it was worth it.

OP - that is a beautiful rifle. Have had my eyes on that 7.62 Saker for a while. Did you get the direct thread-on or the one with the quick coupling collar? The guy at Silencer Shop was raving about the quick connect collar but I was skeptical. Haven't purchased yet for that reason.
