I found this deal on Best Buy right before the deal ended so I bought it before doing research.

I have a few days to decide whether to keep it.

• I game mostly on xbox but wouldn't mind the option to play non-xbox games like Helldivers 2 or Elden Ring. I don't need the best graphics performance but above average would be good.
• I'll be upgrading the RAM and SSD probably.
• Is the trade-in actually a good value? A quick ebay search shows it is nice. Macbook Pro 15 2019, i9.

Can't speak to the trade-in, but the gaming laptop for $1000 seems solid.

Seems like a great deal. My son has an asus tuff f15 that's been great. This one looks even better

Unless i'm connecting to a second monitor, my gaming laptops have to have 17" screens.

For $1,000, it's definitely a good deal if its specs are what you need.
