I've been checking but the few names I'm looking at haven't been released yet... if they will be released at all.

May still change the ole GT once all is said and done with though, have a free change and a few ideas even if the OG tags I want never get dropped.

Well, both Greedy and Nitro got snatched overnight. They were released in between 11pm and 7am CT.

Damn. Still a few others I'm shooting for that aren't in use/released yet.

I'm afraid a few of them are banned and thus won't be released.

I think they are releasing in waves like last time. The Pman account disappeared at 1pm the 18th, but didn't show available till around 3pm. So if the tag you seek is gone from the Xbox live friends search and the name changer says not available, keep checking every hour because you may have a chance.

Yeah I checked the account and it was last used on the 360. You'll probably have to wait until the next console generation for them to release the original "Keester" tag.

Yeah, it was taken when I got my 360. It's cool, my younger brother has the same tag I do just with a different ending #. We both use our jersey #'s from HS. It's like our own little XB clan.

There's one more where I know for a fact the original account had its name changed to something generic and I've been trying to scoop the OG tag, but it hasn't been released AFAIK (despite the 24 hr time period having elapsed). I suppose I'll keep trying for a few more hours but I've pretty much given up hope.

Which one are you trying to find?

The GT was stripped from its old account, which is now JollyBunny155123 or something like that.

But despite no one having claimed the Desire tag, it shows as unavailable when I try and set my GT to it. Frustrating. Likely someone at MS reserved it for themselves.

I actually preferred some of the others on my list but as I mentioned, I think they were banned. This one I know for a fact was stripped from its old account.

Still has the stupid bio, it was most likely an account someone snagged with a trial card back in the day and never used again.
