Malwarebytes doesn't seem to do it. Only seems to occur on extritatorrent.cc, even with PeerBlocker running.

Help?

Did some research, think my DNS servers are ok. Malwarebytes does keep finding stuff to remove but, even after removal and re-boot, torrent web-site produces re-direct crap.

Really frustrating.

what torrent site are you going to that is causing the problems.

I have that problem on some torrent sites, but I use KAtorrents 99.99999% of the time, and do not have that problem.

Thanks Walker. Still working on this right now. Running Malwarebytes again, changed all proxy servers in browsers, deleted all history in all broesers, and ran CCleaner. Will run that one next.

Neither Kapersky's Virus Removal Tool or tdsskiller got it after multiple runs. Would a paid techie be able to do something that I'm not? (Dumb question perhaps.)

I ran Junkware Removal Tool and AdwCleaner earlier. Malwarebytes then found 4 more. Thought about uninstalling uTorrent and re-installing as well.

You can find what a hosts file should look like clean through a Google search or by accessing it on another computer that isn't infected.

You're welcome. People that illegally torrent content directly affect my family's income. So I wont ever shed a single tear when someone downloads a virus by mistake. I can only assume by your user name that you are class of 87 or born in 87. Either way, it means you are an adult and have a job. So maybe you should you know, act like an adult and pay for things not steal them

Thanks for the motivation to either get this one fixed, strip the hard drive clean to start over or go buy new PC, learn from the mistake I made and only use the sites that have worked previously.

Also, I wasn't seeking anyone's tears or sympathy.
