New home internets.

What service do you have? And where do you live?

$74 for 3 down, 1 up, and no cap.

at what point does it become too much??
I understand that streaming content is growing exponentially right now but i have 100mbps download speed and I have not once noticed that I needed faster internet speeds. Except just to have faster speeds.
is this supposed to be for downloading huge 4k videos and things like that?

quote:I'm in Katy. I don't think Consolidated provides much service inside Houston city limits. Maybe that's why? I don't know. They told me they've started offering it to everyone in Texas who has fiber to the home already. I have a new home so I've had FTTH since I moved here, previously had their 100Mb service.
How do you get it in the Houston area?
Shows on their website that Houston doesn't even have it yet....?

quote:Nope, no fee or anything. They just come and swap out the box on the outside of your house, set you up with a new wireless router (I chose to stick with my own though) and that's it.
I'm in Katy as well with Consolidated! Have you upgraded yet? Was there any type of fee associated with that?
