Who else here is going to play the Battlefront Beta? I am thinking of calling in sick at work to play. Not really, but still I can't wait to battle it out on Hoth!

It's an open beta, meaning everybody can play. Starts on the 8th... should be advertisements for it that you can click on to download... otherwise just go to the game store on the 8th and find it there for download.

Wednesday night I'll be getting in as many games as possible. Going to be out of town all weekend so no gaming then.

I would like to know this as well

I can preload games/apps to download using my smartglass app or the Xbox website. Not sure if that's a preview feature or if everyone can do it now.

Usually they load stuff around 3-5 am I've discovered. Either way when I wake up I'm looking and downloading it using my smart glass app.

so you maybe dont have to browse while you are groggy and sleepy, it is still not on the website for me.

I haven't seen anything either yet.

Saw some game play videos last night and the battle of Hoth game type looks awesome.

I've watched a couple videos... looks like the 3rd person is the way to go. Much wider view of the battlefield and the assisted accuracy seems really tight. Only advantage I've seen to 1st person is you can zoom in a bit with blasters. So perhaps when camping and picking off enemies from a distance 1st person is better... but typical run and gun it looks like you'll want 3rd person.

No, can we download it via the app?

The smart glass app, yes. You can buy/download any games or demos from the App I believe.

Just FYI, if y'all see me playing earlier in the evening and I ignore invites it's probably cause I'm showing my kids the game and I've got all voice chat muted. But my awesome wife did approve my game time tonight so I'll be on between 8-9 ready to go once all my kids are in dreamland!

Now I'm torn between the Beta and the Astros game Ugh
